    Great job Arndt

The score of the Arndt and Newton- Conover game doesn't tell the whole story. Arndt was winning big with only one run allowed late in the game and Joe being the great coach that he is allowed some girls to play in spots they would normally not be able to. The bright spot for NC was Chelsea Cullars going 3-3 with 3RBI's. Sorry for the slow pitching Joe. See ya on the weekends.:trophy:

    from Johnston County

Cleveland over McGee's in a rivalry game, 4-3 in 8 innings. Great pitching on both sides. Erin Langdon (8th grader) for McGees & Alexis Betancourt (7th grade) for Cleveland. I think I saw only 2 or 3 balls touch the outfield grass. Lots of bunting, including successful slap-hitting which surprised me somewhat at the MS level.
Game was specially arranged to be played at the high school field, a night game under the lights. Good deal for middle schools feeding to this high school, West Johnston.
