    Mooresville beats MP 8-3. You could tell it was the first game for both teams. Not a well played game on defense for both sides. The red imps did hit the ball very well and the pitching looked ok. Look foward to see them play again Thursday. GO RED IMPS!!!!

    :27: Mooresville had one bad inning (6th). That's the inning when the fielding was shakey. At that point the coach had several subs in the game. The main concern for MMS was the 4 baserunning blunders.

    Little had 6 K's and one earned run. Raper went 3-4 with two doubles and 1 RBI. Holcomb had a double, a single, and 2 RBI's. Mooresville altogether had 11 hits.

    Any word on CC Grffin and Harris Road?

    Harris Road starter A.J. James pitched a full 7 innings giving up 1 earned run.

    Griffin starter Travis Baucom settled down after walking a few in the first for a solid opening day.

    Craig Bolton got the win striking out 10. Nick Triplet had 3 hits for the Dragons. Crest is now 6-3 on the year.
