North Lincoln is now 4-0.

 

West Lincoln vs Kings Mountian.

West Improved to 3 - 1 today with a 9 to 1 victory at Kings Mountain.
The game was a lot closer then the score makes it look. West got a key hit with bases loaded and another with two on to break it open But the Kings Mountain girls are a strong team and had several runners is scoring position . W.L. dodged a few bullets to get the victory today. I know when they meet again K.M. will be loaded for bear. Thanks to the K.M team and parents for a great day at your field.

 

Trask vs Holly Shelter

The Trask softball team improved their record to 5-0 with a 16-6 win over Holly Shelter. The girls were led on defense by the pitching of Kelsi Johnston improving her record to 3-0 with 6 strikeouts and Kirstie Langley pitching 1 inning in relief. At the plate the Bears were led by Olivia Honeycutt who went 1-2 with 2 rbis, Moriah Ozulua went 1-1 with 1 rbi, Elexa Parker went 1-2 with 3 runs scored and Michelle Mutascio went 1-1 with 1 rbi. The girls next game will be home Tuesday against Roland Grise.

You are right those girls are a group of girls that are coming around, WL was a tough componet I expected to see a close game and it was for a couple of innings, KM just couldn't get thier bats to come around. There is always next time maybe I will see there.

West came out on top vs Lincolnton this afternoon. West is now 4 - 1 on the year

[SIZE=+0]The Lady Patriots Softball team won yesterday defeating East Lincoln 6-1. Emily Hester threw a complete game 2 hitter striking out 11. Sarah Scism had the big hit for the Lady Patriots with a bases-loaded 2 run single that opened up the game. Gracie Hunter added 2 runs and a RBI while Jamie Bagwell added a hit and a RBI. The Lady Patriots are back in action Thursday at Lincolnton.[/SIZE]​

 

Crest 5, East Rutherford 1 — The Crest Lady Dragons ran their record to 5-0 by beating East Middle, 5-1.
Macy Ollis threw a one-hitter, striking out 13 to get the win. She was backed by three hits from Savannah Howard, plus two each from Katie Bowman and Chloe Harris.
Crest Middle will host Chase on Thursday.

 

West Lincoln vs North Lincoln

West fell to North today 4 to 2 in what was a great game. West had a one run lead in the first and held it till the 4th and North tied it in the bottom half and went up one in the fifth West came back to tie it again in the top of the 6th. West scored two on mis-plays to go up 4 to 2 in their half . West threatened but could not push two across in the top of the 6th.
Congrats to both teams for what was one of the better middle school games I have seen.
