    We are trying to get in the tournment at Marion this weekend, if Jamie can get us in we will be there, (coach started a little late trying to get the team together for this tournment.)

    Middle school scores

    Newton-Conover middle defeated Northview middle 24-3. The real test will be next week as NC goes to Arndt Tues. and Mill Creek Thurs.

    ***side note**** Newton-Conover finally has some travel ball girls coming up to school ball age. Still young, but at least their playing.

    EBMS...11 - W. McDowell...3

    East Burke Middle beat West McDowell this afternoon 11-3. McDowell hit the ball pretty good. The girls played hard and loved every minute of it. Kuddos to Jackie for that awesome out at home!! We go up against Liberty Middle on Monday @ Liberty. Go Lady Raiders!!

    Good game today. EBMS played well. Good infielding, a couple of really good hits. Our girls are young players but they are coming. I thought we could have done better but it's early in the season. I recognize your pitcher from somewhere. She's good. Catcher made a good play at home. Congrads but we'll see you again in April!!

    i am hearing alot from that area Craze......bunker hill and maiden as well! its definitely a positive for all levels of play when the they seek help and Playing!!

    EBMS..13 - Liberty...9

    A very intense game today in Burke County between the EBMS Lady Raiders and the Liberty Middle Knights. It was a back and forth battle all the way to the bottom of the 7th inning. Tied game 6 to 6, Liberty loaded the bases with no outs. EB fought thier way out of the inning and gave up no runs to bring the game into overtime. The top of the 8th, EB came out strong, getting their bats going to score 7 more runs. Liberty came back at the bottom scoring 3 more runs but just couldn't catch up to EB. This puts EBMS at 3-0 so far this season. Great job to all the girls!
    We face off with Walter Johnson this Thursday at home. :hurray:

    Update middle school scores

    As advertised Arndt middle defeated Newton-Conover 12-1 today. Newton's better bats were kept silent by walks or HBP( not intentional). Newton started a 1st year pitcher and suffered with many, many long hits. Next up for Newton will be Mill Creek Thursday @ Mill Creek 4pm. Mill Creek has a strong Denver Dazzle base of girls. I'll update asap!

    Jacobs Fork has a record of 2-1. Lost too Mill Creek 7-2 or 8-2 can't remember. Mill Creek has a soild team. Beat Maiden 11-4. Beat Northview 21-0. Next up Grandview I think..
