Mike Matthews - Young 18U - (High School)

    Some of you may know us. Hope it's all good stuff. Casie is a 14 year old (12/21/92) that is attending Myers Park High School I. B. We are looking to join, or start, a young 18u softball team. Casie is a middle infielder that has played at 16u since 2006. She mostly played outfield and some 2nd base with the Charlotte Cobras. We did not play this summer. Our family took some time to watch her brother finish his final year in American Legion and her sister complete her senior year catching for the Charlotte 49ers. Casie has always been successful playing up in age. She has pitched, caught, played outfield and spent time at both 2nd and short (her primary positions). We are hoping to find a team that will allow for Casie to compete at shortstop or 2nd base, give me a chance to coach, and for Becky (her sister) to be an assistant. We are ready to start practice now for the upcoming 2008 season. Please keep us in mind.

    Hi Mike,

    Welcome aboard TBR. I know you very well, although you won't know me from my screen name. But if I mention TJ and Starclaire that should give you a strong clue.

    I heard the good news about Becky...congratulations.

    Back to the topic. Mike, you will find that TBR is an excellent resource for anything to do with FP softball. If Casie is as good or better than her sisters, than the softball community better watch out. Casie is 14? Wow...has time flown by. Tell everybody in the Mathews family that the W's say hello
