Thanks sportsmom. Thank goodness mine isn't an orphan, but he pitches, plays OF and he's a goalie too. No rest for the weary! You'd think it would keep me thin! But I wouldn't miss a minute of it. We're just starting the HS journey so as a freshman, we've got 4 years of fun ahead of us and I won't miss a second if I can help it and neither will my husband.

Oh my...there really is no rest for the weary! Should I add you to my prayer list?

In MS, our son played 4 sports and in high school he has played basketball and baseball. Be prepared for an unbelievable journey! I have not missed a game and my husband has missed a handful due to work. We would not trade it for anything. My friends don't understand why I won't go on retreats with the ladies, but I just tell them that this time will pass too quickly and I'll never be able to have a 'do over'. Later, if the Lord sees fit, there will be time for ME, but if not, that's okay....I wouldn't trade my life for anything!

    Enjoy every second!

    University of Alabama Bat Girl

I married a bat girl. I knew she was a jock but when I found out she was a bat girl in college I was sold! Needless to say.........she won't be reading a book at any games.
