why is no one answering the question of WHO said everyone would be released and why does everyone think it is ok to teach their kids to break rules? None of this was a problem as long as Post 66 was @MHS with the "old clan" in tact. God forbid Lake Norman control there own talent pool.

    About Last Night

Thanks to everyone that helped get us to the point where baseball took center stage. 40 of the areas finest did in deed play a game against each other and appeared to really enjoy it. Obviously the pitching is holding up well because both teams can hit all up and down those line-ups and yet held to a 6-4 final score. You can get alot of people around that LKN field with room to move around and visit. Great atmosphere. Great for baseball. Great for town.

The Post 66 Coach is one of the tops in Legion program. Well Done. We will do all we can to retain him and his staff.

Again the word "handshake". That very way of doing business is exacetely why things have come to where we are. I don't believe that ever happened, I think it is more of the rumor mill just to keep things stired up but I will give you the benefit of the doubt. Let's say it did happen just that way, now there are kids locked out of play because of a "handshake deal" from someone who obviously had no authority. Again stop with the business practices of the past and play within the rules then there is no confusion about who said what.

    More than well played

seemed like every inning Post 66 would get things going and wind up with a rally killing double play. Very frustrating but hand it do the 537's i know they closed 4 innings maybe more on double plays.

    Well you got me.

I must admit to the uninformed part. Don't know most of what your even talking about. It is true that post 66 released 2 players over to post 537, and that post 537 released 2 players back over to post 66. Maybe if we had only one team then there might have been less fussing. But then the other 20 boys playing would be out of baseball and I'm told there was a whole lot of fussing anyway when we had just the one team so at least we gain some playing time for the young men.
