    Alumni Post 66 Baseball Moors​


    All Past Post 66 Moors that can still tie their shoes and fit into a pair of baseball pants are invited to play; come one come all. Monday May 26, Memorial Weekend 6 pm, Post 66 Alumni go at it in the dirt at Lake Norman High Park. The BIG Game, a fun look back at the years, will be 9 innings or as long as the Alumni can go. Watch some of the best ever turn a sure double into a single. Bring the whole family to enjoy seeing your favorite players from past eras’ step to the plate again to support American Legion Moors Baseball. Be there to see if the young'uns can avenge last years spanking.

    I hear that Mooresville may combine teams next year. Is there any truth to that?

    Have heard that as well from several folks, on both sides. One side is out of money and at the same time, has had a hard time getting numbers to field a team. Supposedly hoping to hold a meeting after playoffs and see if something can be worked out. We will wait and see.
