It's almost a shame that Morehead has to go to the Southeast Regional. A storybook run like this deserves to end with a trophy, hugs & smiles. When these kids re-tell their championship story, their Grandkids will think: "Grandpa is stretching the truth again."

Hat tip to the champs. You won this title the old fashioned way: you earned it!!!

Congratulations to Morehead City on their championship run !!! Your players, coaches & fans were a class act. I dont know that we could have done what you guys did being that our pitching had gone south for the tournament with Ketner & Sherrill both out. Good luck in the regionals!!

    uh oh

Someone forgot to tell Morehead city that they were not suppose to beat Caldwell..........:thud: Where will the south east regional be held this year? Who pitched for caldwell in the two games yesterday? Heard the scores but did not see any box scores....... any good links to a paper that may have the box scores? Hopefully this has been a lot of fun for the players and coaches in the tournament!!!!

messer pitched for caldwell in game one. three kids threw game 2, the last kid righty sidearmer did a great job holding us done over the last 4.
