    Morgan Childers has verbally committed to play at USC Upstate!!!

    Coach Hawkins, great catch!! I guess last summer sure did pay off for you!!

    Mo is a gamer, fierce competitor, extremely hard worker, full of softball savy, a great power hitter and an awesome pitcher. I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to coach Mo from the time she was 11 years old till she was about 15 years old or so. It has been fun watching her grow as a person and a player. Now it's great to watch her baffle the opposing batters for Kings Mountain High School.

    Mo, we are so proud of you. Tony, congratulations from our whole family! The pressure is off....enjoy!!

    she has definitely earned her way to the top and Hawk has filled that missing piece in the Elite Eight Puzzle! Great Fit!

    Way to go Mo, good decision. I know that you will have a great career at USC Upstate. I think Mo made her decision based not only upon Coach Hawkins but the facilities and campus as well. Looks like Hawk is gearing up for D1 competition in 2008-09 season. A lot of players benefited from having the opportunity to play for Hawk last season but, this response is about Mo. Good Luck and I look forward to seeing you pitch at the D1 level.:woohoo: :woohoo:
