    Congrats

congrats to Morgan. Very prestige team to play for. Saw where they placed 5th at Gold nationals.

Any other local players on out of town teams?

North Meck will be loaded at pitcher with Sara "Boomer" Mooney, Sara Allen (Transfer from Northside) and Morgan Hopper. They should be one of the favorites coming out of the West.

    Congrats

Congrats to these girls, sounds like a great opportunity. But why do our best local talent continue to go play outside the state? Just curious.

    Pitching of the Shamrocks

I've followed the "Shammies" for years. Two of their assistant coach's DD's are college teammates of my DD. Pitching for them can be mixed blessing. If you followed the ASA Golds this year you noticed that Lindsey Sisk did most of the pitching for them. If you check their web page she's not on their roster. Sisk is from AZ and was the #2 pitcher behind T Mowatt this past season. The Shamrocks picked her up for Golds. The Williams kid who threw some is on their roster is from MS and pitches @ Troy. She only shows up for qualifiers. K Delahaba is their 'regular' pitcher. She's entering Villanova this fall. Pitched very little at nationals. The point is that the Shamrocks are in it to win, plain and simple. When it comes time to qualify they will find the best pitcher whose available. If that pitcher is part of their team, OK, if she's not then that's OK too. The philosophy is that the further the team can go the better it is for everyone. If a pickup pitcher will "advance the cause" that's fine.
