Morgan Lashley Commits to West Point!!!

    I would like to congratulate Morgan Lashley of the Virginia Shamrocks Gold (North Meck-2011 Grad) for committing to West Point. Morgan
    has been with the Shamrocks and under Coach Orndorff for the past 2 years and she will continue her softball career as a Black Knight
    under Coach Michelle DePolo at The United States Military Academy. I had the priviledge of coaching Morgan in her younger years and
    even back then when she set a goal we knew she would exceed it. Morgan was a middle infielder that wanted to catch who desired to pitch.
    Yes, she could do it all. Morgan is an outstanding student-athlete with a great work ethic. Morgan has developed and matured into an
    outstanding pitcher at North Meck and I know she will accomplish her goals at West Point. I know mom is proud.
    Great job young lady, you deserve it :24: .

    Thanks Ricky and Jimi - it's been a long road and we certainly wouldn't be where we are without a great start way back when with the QC Rockers and the "mighty" Outlaws-Black (may be the best team we've ever been a part of). Those were great times and days we look back on fondly for sure.

    Morgan has worked real hard in the classroom and on the field, so yes, I am proud of what she has accomplished for herself. We are looking forward to this last year before she heads out and then we'll be excited to see what the next chapter brings for her, both educationally and athletically.

    Thanks again to everyone who ever did anything to help Morgan get where she is today. It is very much appreciated.

    Congratulations!!!

    The Point is getting a great player and I sure an equally great Cadet! Best of all I believe she will be a great US Army officer, I feel safer already. I am proud of of you for your commitment.
