And countryboy17,,, how many of us probably learned more about math than we'd like to admit from reading scoreboards and figuring scorebooks,,, heck I never had no problem with batting averages & era's either.

But that stuff they taught in school just never interested me... :bandana:

Mt.Pleasant High School lands the best HS baseball coach in Cabarrus County, luring Central Cabarrus Head Coach Bryan Tyson away from Central to join the MP program. Longtime Central assistant Eric Laws will also leave Central to join Coach Tyson at MP. Coach Tyson has maintained the baseball program at Central Cabarrus at the very highest level challenging for conference titles every year for the past 15 years or so. Numerous players have went on to play collegiately and several drafted to play professionally. For a small 2A school, Mt.Pleasant has always maintained a very good baseball program and this addition will insure that this program will no doubt become one of the top 2A HS baseball programs in the state. Congratulations Countryboy17, you guys did good,,, most definitely much better than what you and I discussed......

I am very happy with the New Coach at MPHS. I have the upmost respect for both Tyson and Laws and I feel that our kids now have the chance to learn and compete at the highest levels. I have learned that there were several top notch coaches interested in coming to MPHS and making this program one of the best in the state.
I am very excited for the program and the kids and look forward to the fall/winter program that they have lacked for several years at MPHS.
The old saying that is gets the darkest just before dawn is true in this case.
Thanks for the kind words TJ21, now let's support the new coaches/players so they can get it done!!! :gunsmilie:
