    Seen it once...

Saw a coach and player get disqualified for the girl wearing jewelry after the team was given a warning. My understanding was that two differences are...

With an ejection, they are suspended for the next game (at least) as well. A disqualification is for that game only.

With an ejection, they have to leave the dugout. Can stay in dugout but cannot go on the field, including base coaching, after a disqualification.

Just what I saw and was told. No idea how accurate the info is...

I was at that game, also. The player (our catcher) and the head coach were restricted to the dugout. They called it a disqualification.

Kind of like basketball where they make you stay seated but not ejected, I guess.

I was at the game as well........but did not hear the actual conversation. That's not what this thread is about anyway. Let's steer it back to the original subject............Some great softball played by some very well-coached teams. It was a great day and all the players did well! Congrats to all the ladies and coaches who participated.
