Myers Park stops Hopewell, in words and pictures

    Got to give it up to the Myers Park Mustangs Matt Hedberg. This kid completly dominated the Titans batters for 7 innings. Keep in mind this Titans team has not been shut out all year. Myers Park has a very classy program and their kids have alot of heart.(more than Hopewell had last night).Oh i almost forgot they also have a ton more support for their baseball team than Hopewell. The bleachers on the Myers Park side were full by 6:30. Hopewell side was very quite from start to finish. The same could be said for the entire season.

    Thank you Hopewell Titans baseball players! It's been such a fun season, I'm just sorry it had to end this soon. I didn't get the chance to speak with the seniors last night because I was afraid I would get choked up, because our family has been with many of your families for six years. Best of luck in your future endeavors and we wish you well. We will miss you all!
