I was wondering the same question. Just came off knee surgery, don't want to drive out there and find that I'm the only Eagle there.

Robert Woodard and Ben Buchanan both pitched great games. Both had lively fastballs -- Ben's curve was an effective strike out pitch all evening and Robert's slider was just plain nasty. East left the bases loaded in the third, but neither team mounted much of a threat against the other team's ace. Home runs by Rob Wilson and Tim Kramer for Myers Park and Matt Hill for East Meck provided the run production.

There was a great crowd at the game considering the weather, and fortunately the rain was never very heavy. East Meck's field was in great condition from start to finish.

Myers Park now needs only one win in its remaining two games (Olympic tomorrow and Butler Wednesday) to clinch the regular season crown.

East can clinch second with a come from behind win over Waddell when that game resumes and is completed tomorrow.
