Some great talent on display this weekend in NC!

In addition to the HS state championships going on in Raleigh, these ASA National Qualifier tournaments right down the road in Cary will feature some of the top talent from across the southeast US, including the defending 18U Gold National Champions, the East Cobb Bullets. That's a ton of great talent coming to Wake County this weekend! I wish all teams from NC the best and hope everyone has a safe and fun weekend!

Not sure how the 18 gold turned out but the top 4 teams in the 18a were 1. Carolina Cardinals. 2. Carolina Wildcats. 3. Georgia Crush. 4. Georgia Shockers. Great job by the Cards and Cats. Both earned berths to the ASA 18 nationals and berths to the Hall of fame tournament in Oklahoma City!!

Congrats to the NC teams that qualified. I do have one complaint and it is about the timing of this tournament. I know nothing about how the dates are selected for hosting this tournament but I wish it could have been held later in the month. With the state tournaments being played and SC graduation being held, some of the players were not able to participate. Maybe next year Ric can work out something different. Sounds like there were some very good games on Saturday at the state tournament, softball and baseball.
