NC Flight Fastpitch 12u tryouts for Fall 2013

The NC Flight will be holding tryouts for the fall season at Weddington Middle School field, Weddington, N.C. on Monday June 17th at 6:00. (See directions below). We are seeking experienced travel ball players that with 2001 and 2002 birthdates to compete in NSA, ASA and WFC tournaments.

We are seeking girls with strong bats and arms that want to compete against other strong talent. We want families who understand the importance of practice to achieve personal and team goals.


I’m Steve Gertzman and I have coached Weddington Middle School softball for the last 5 years and have 8 years of travel fastpitch coaching experience with my older daughter. She is in very good hands and it is time to start over with this age group. The coach's long term goals are to prepare our girls to compete at the the high school varsity level (ideally as freshman) and showcase tournaments for the opportunity to play at the collegiate level.

Directions: From the 485 take exit #57 (Providence Road) towards Weddington. From Providence Road take a left onto Weddington Road, go to the first stop light and turn left onto Twelve Mile Creek Road. Go past the elementary school and turn right onto Deal Road. Field is the first paved road on the right and the field is next to the road. Around a 10 minute drive from the 485 .
