Gonna give it a shot!!!

Anyone can get beat anytime. Just gonna play one game at a time and work toward the teams goals.
Girls have really worked hard and have played well. Hope to be in Raleigh for the first time this year!!

 

I heard that. You don't think that it is a coincidence that it is a Mt Pleasant daddy posting the stats on every board he can find do you. You would think they would be ranked #1 instead of #5. Looks like this is their last year for a chance to win a 2A title as they will be moving up to 3A next year.

So anybody can just send stats in and they will post them with no verification? I bet they are flooded with dd's stats. It won't be long until we see some batting .800 and .900. There are a few close to it now.

I believe there are multiple parents who post scores from their teams games!

I post here under game scores and on NC Preps as there are a different group of folks who read and use that one. The coach provides me with the info he wants reported and that also goes to our local paper. He also weekly sends an email to the guy who puts out the stats on the NC Preps site. Not sure what your beef is about MP. But again I invite you to come out anytime and watch us play! BTW, we beat every 3A team in our county this year that will be in our conference next year and are only losing one starter......... Feel free to PM me anytime

 

MP has shot

My DD's TB team has practices at MP field and we watched MP practice some and they have a real deal of a team. Now, will they win 2A state? We'll see in the next 6 wks.
1. Pisgah [1]
2. Ledford [2]
3. Forbush [3]
4. Central Davidson [4]
5. Mt. Pleasant [6]

along with West Stanly which is in their conference. These should all be in the Western Div. of 2A.

But they have a real good shot. I don"t think their stats are flawed. HR's, Wins by pitcher and strike outs speak for themselves. The other stats not as concerned about. Lets say a girl with a .700 batting average was really .625, have to admit that .625 still a good average for a top 5 team playing very good competition. Don't worry about it, when they get to state, we'll see then.

Anybody who knows Robert Miller and his family has only good things to say. He is a prince and perhaps most importantly has no ulterior motive in posting these stats since his daughter has already committed to play college ball at Mars Hill.

 

It lists in the AC-T today that 13 players have signed to play at the next level 10 of those players are 3A/4A yet every year the top leaders in stats are 1A/2A. Odd ain't it?

How dare you back up your assertions with information that supports your opinions?!?!? That's not allowed here! This is a "feel-good" place...please modify your style.

In this place, there are some things that you should know:
1.) High school stats are ACCURATE.
2.) Every team's schedule and conference are tough....REALLY tough.
3.) Most 1A/2A schools are equal to 4A schools in size and talent
4.) No one is allowed to question the validity of an Inside-the-Park HR... there's "oodles" of them that happen every day!!!
5.) Lastly, if the fielder actually SAW the yellow ball at somepoint during the at-bat, then it is ruled a HIT!!!
