Let me just say (being neutral), I wish the best of luck to RaleighDevil and his bunch (Wayne County), travisunc westboy and their bunch (Rowan County), of course can't leave out luigiboy sumo and their bunch (Churaville), and also would like to welcome the fine folks from Randolph County, Clayton, Wilmington and Hope Mills to the Piedmont area of North Carolina this week for some great baseball. I'm hearing the folks from Gastonia is got a fine tournament lined up for you guys, now if only the weather will cooperate. Looks like HOT HOT HOT temps for the day games next couple days with only 30-40% rain most days. Hope to see some of you sometime this week at a ballgame, I will be the one with either a hotdog or a chew in my mouth most of the time.

Lets keep the predictions civil, but I'll start it out. Lots of great teams coming, great traditions, some newcomers who are playing well, several well-known coaches who have history on their side,,, but the one I'm going with simply always knows how to win these things,,, my pick Churaville. Good Luck to everyone.

Well it is good to see yall have finally mastered the english language and started talkin proper. As far as keeping things civil well good luck with that. I do think Cherryville will make a good showing and if some breaks go our way repeating is not out of the question. Some of the best bats in the state are at Cherryville and some solid arms. A coach who knows how to get the best out of his bunch and alot of championship experience make them a handfull for anyone. :smiley-patriotic-fl ROCK ON!!!

    My Pick

Of course I have to go with Post 100. I can't imagine anybody in their right mind betting against them. We know Reynolds will have them ready to play and Mama's home cooking and sleeping in their own beds at night can't hurt either.

Not to get off topic, but back to the radio station part of this thread........did you know that Marty Brennaman (famed play by play broadcaster for the Cincinnati Reds) used to be the voice of Rowan County American Legion?

    Interesting tidbit.

With that said, I'm going to take Hope Mills to win the state tourney.

I have not been present, but the Randolph radio folks said they were pleasantly surprised with the morning crowd and it was better than last year in Garner. No idea on a number though.
