    Rowan County 8
    Wilmington 7

    WP: Parker Gobbel

Rowan rallies in the bottom of the ninth inning on a walk off walk by Jon Crucitti to end the game and Wilmington's season. Philip Miclat reached on an error in the ninth and eventually scored the tying run on Casey Little's huge pinch hit double that nearly missed going out. Trey Holmes was intentionally walked with Little at second and Russell Michalec walked to load the bases for Zach Smith who struck out. Crucitti ran the count to 3-1 and was walked on a pitch inside winning the game for Rowan. Game was a pitcher's duel early on between Post 10 starter Jordan Farrell and Rowan starter Nick Smith.

Russell Michalec hit his eighth home run of the season in the bottom of the first.

Rowan will play Shelby Wednesday afternoon at 1. A Rowan win means a state title. A Shelby win means another game is in order. Not exactly sure what time the game will be. I've heard 7 pm?

1st game today at 1pm,,,,,,, 2nd game if necessary at 7pm.

Rowan definitely in the driver's seat being undefeated, but I've seen teams coming out of loser's bracket win 2 games on final day before.

Still not sure when that second game might be. We have heard that it might be 45 minutes after the first one. I'm not totally sure. I guess we'll find out.

    GO ROWAN!!

Carolina Man, both town's stations are broadcasting. Go to the radio thread and read thru. It will get you both stations call letters, etc.
