    It is the calm before the storm...

    TREMENDOUS 2nd Day Schedule

    Starting out with Shelby/Rocky Mount playing for outright survival, then locals Duplin/Pitt going at it,,, winner's bracket has Wilmington facing upstart Mooresville, followed by biggest 2 crowds and possibly loudest game of entire tournament when 2 legion giants Cherryville and Rowan County butt heads in nightcap.

    Wish you the best weather, that nobody gets hurt, and that my a$$ was there,,, unfortunately I'll have to settle for 2 out of 3... :veryangry:

    My 2nd day picks: Rocky Mount, Pitt Co, Mooresville (call me a homer) and Rowan County (yep I wish Gantt would've saved Corbin for this game, but I believe as good as Jake Watts is, Rowan's bats are just too hot and peaking at the right time). Of course I'll go out on the limb and say the loser of the Cville/Rowan game will come all the way back thru the loser's bracket and these 2 will see each other again about Tuesday or Wednesday. :two-cents:

    I was kind of wondering about the "Springer" thing too. Read nothing on the online version of the Greenville, NC or Gastonia, NC papers.

    I'm going to be a homer and go with Cherryville in this one. I think their big game experience will put them over the top against the Caldwell County of Area III.

    Sumo is down there and there is no telling what he's stiring up in the stands. I thought Cherryville just did that kind of stuff when they played Caldwell County but it seems they do it everywhere they go. Have fun guys...wish I was there.

    They must be a hell of a team if luigiboy is comparing them to Caldwell County. luigiboy and sumo needs to stop causing trouble in the stands. Hell I heard about it all the way out here in Kansas. LMAO

    The Sunday programs on WHIP could not be bumped. Game is being recorded for delay broadcast. Will start at 6PM.
