NC STING SHOWCASE BASEBALL TRYOUT - January 12

    The NC STING College Prospect Program showcase baseball team, based in the Piedmont Triad area, will be holding a tryout on Saturday, January 12, 2013 from 1-4 p.m. at R.J. Reynolds High School field (Hanes Park) in Winston-Salem. The tryout is open to any players ages 15-18 (Class of 2013 - 2016) interested in playing a competative showcase schedule during the summer of 2013. There is a $15 tryout fee.

    The STING is looking for 1-2 position players and 1-2 pitcher-only players.

    The R.J. Reynolds High School baseball field is located in Hanes Park at the corner of Northwest Blvd. and Reynolda Road in Winston-Salem.

    Directions to RJR Baseball Field:

    From Highway 52: Take I-40 West and follow directions below

    From I-40 EAST: Exit 1st Street; turn left at bottom of ramp onto 1st Street; at stoplight, turn right onto Hawthorne Road; at 2nd stoplight, turn right onto Northwest Blvd.; drive past gym (on right), down hill and field is on right (corner of Northwest Blvd. and Reynolda Road)

    From I-40 WEST: Exit Cloverdale Ave.; turn left at bottom of ramp onto Cloverdale Ave.; at 2nd stoplight, turn left onto Hawthorne Road; at next light, turn right onto Northwest Blvd.; go through light, down hill (past gym), at bottom of hill -field is on the right (corner of Northwest Blvd. and Reynolda Road)

    STING TRYOUT FORM

    All players attending the NC STING College Prospect Program tryout this Saturday, January 12 at RJ Reynolds High School field must complete a tryout application. The application is available at www.ncsting.com. It is reccommended that players complete the form and bring it to the tryout.

    NC STING tryout moved to SUNDAY, JANUARY 13

    Due to wet field conditions, the NC STING College Prospect Program tryout for Saturday has been moved to Sunday, January 13 from 1-4 p.m. The location will still be the R.J. Reynolds High School baseball field.
