    Hey why not start another "loaded" thread? Who nominates players for this event and how are the teams chosen?

    haha...There are no tryouts. The coaches involved select the players based on their opinion who they want on their team. It's an outstanding event that I find puzzling because it gets very little fanfare. But the event itself is well sponsored and the players seem to love it. Is it in Myrtle Beach again this year?

    Unfortunately, these games are held during some school's graduation ceremonies. I am sure it must be tough, if not impossible to find a date that all selections could attend.

    Awesome event!!

    I had the privilege of being an Asst coach for NC in 2003, when Dale Ijames was the head coach and Pete Shankle and I were the Asst. Coaches. That year it was held at ECU and NC defeated SC!!

    What a fun time!!!
