    I'll have more to say later but...........

    I hope that State's # 2 & # 3 starting pitchers enjoyed the scenery & the nice ocean breeze down at MB, since they did not get to pitch any.

    WHAT? I know it's vs. Stonybrook, but coach it's an ELIMINATION GAME. Start a freshman that has not started a game this season???? 23 innings pitched, all in relief. gives up all 6 runs in the 1st inning, no less. final score 6-2. An ELIMINATION game is not the time to get cute-sy with your pitching selection.
    and where's the great offense?

    and what about that ejection? arguing a swing / no swing on 3rd strike. embarassing. glad it was not on TV.

    Cal team that was on downhill slide at end of season but got in

    California the # 2 seed at the Norman regional is eliminated 0-2.

    happenings

    Va. loses to St Johns forcing an if game Mon.
    UNC & Okla. 1-1 in 4th. Elim game for UNC (may be in a delay as gametracker is stuck).
    USC rolling in that regional
    FSU trying to hold on.
    Looks like an if game Mon GT vs Ala.
    Aub forces an if game Mon vs Clemson
    College of Charleston leading Coastal Carolina; for CC this is an elim game.
    If CofC wins regional , USC will host the super-regional.

    Tx A&M over Miami forcing if game Mon.
    LSU eliminated today.

    disappointed in ESPN TV coverage as ACC - SEC teams not very much covered.

    With UNC going down, I guess the State of North Carolina is finished.
