NCFCA Clinic

I had a great time at the clinic on Saturday. Heard some really great speakers. I really enjoyed listening to Danielle from WCU and her perspective being a younger coach. I also really enjoyed not only listening to but getting to have a conversation with Mr. Rodney Threatt. I also had the chance to meet and talk with Mr. Chip Adams. I have been around sports most of my life as many of you have. But the way people like Coach Lambros and Mr. Threatt are so willing to share all they have and help others really puts this game in a category all by itself. Even from the college level I have had several well known college coaches more than willing to help out a beginner such as myself. It just saddens me that more coaches don't take advantage of these situations. Again I had a great time and enjoyed being in a room with others that are passiontate about softball and the young ladies that play our game.

It was a very good clinic. Thank you Coach Lambros for your hospitality. Also a big thank you to Coach Reese from WCU, Coach Payne, Chief, "Pop" Rivers. for a very informative day. For those who normally don't attend this please make room in your schedules. You won't regret it as this forum helped me see things from a somewhat different point of view.
