NCFPCA needs Scores and Updated Records

In cooperation with the NCFPCA and Lin Wheeler, they would like all scores/updated Records be reported to the SCORES Thread provided and Team Records (new thread started) so that the association and its members can be better informed for their weekly poll. The poll will be released on Thursday but the cut off time of Tuesday nite is required....coaches vote on Wednesdays so please report the scores here, email me or any moderator here or PM me for my phone number. We have a great network for NC Softball at TBR and with your help on a regular basis throughout the season, we can better inform the coaches across NC for their State Poll selections.

Appreciate it....EnkaBall05 have you checked out the webpage lately....Rick the administrator is doing a great job keeping it up to date. He has the scores posted almost immediately after they were sent to him...Again let me know if you find any scores on the webpage to be inaccurate either by score or date...

 

I'm not sure you can say this is a great network for "NC" softball. Almost all threads seem to be centered on one area of NC. There's nothing wrong with that but I don't think polls should be based on info from a board that is centered around one area. I think there should be a place on the NCFPCA site to report scores.

 

TBR poll and the ncfastpitch webpage are different polls. If one poll or the other seems slanted then I am sure its because of the people who are actively voting. Hopefully its by people who know the teams by this I mean coaches and those people who are in the know who might not be biased.
I am taking the scores off of TBR and emails and out of the newspaper and sending them to Rick at the webpage in a format that allows him to cut and paste without too much work on his end. They are scrolling across the top of the webpage. We just started sending in scores yesterday. It will take time to catch up...

 

the poll is voted by coaches in all of NC, not only WNC!

the scores can be reported directly to NCFSCA if you prefer!

remember this board was started with only a few members and has grown tremedously and our eastern folks are only now just getting onboard. Invite others to report there scores to TBR or the NCFSCA and check to see if your HS Coach is a member or even cares to vote. We usually hear from the areas where their coaches dont vote.

we thank you for posting your record in the Updated Record thread and hope you will contiune to do so. P-Tank has had a down year or two but sounds like the team is back in the race. Who handed you your lone loss this year??

What threads in softball, would be different if someone from say Wilmington started it, verses someone from Hickory.....softball is softball.

I didn't mean to upset anyone. I'm glad to see someone doing the polls since they aren't on ihigh. I understand all NC coaches vote. I'm just saying it would be nice if they obtained their info from a statewide site.

BTW P-Tank has (2) losses now, one to Gates County in the first game of the season and one conference loss to Northeastern. Northeastern also has a conference loss to Bertie County.

 

no feathers raffled here.....but this is a statewide site. ihigh used this place for its scores too so just contiune to spread the word about TBR Softball down east and it will make it to a site You prefer.
