:30:This weekend I will have the priviledge of being part of a special clinic. This clinic will be the oppurtunity for alot of folks to hear some good ideas about the game ,as well as getting to share some of the ideas you all may have. Since the Great State of North Carolina went to fast pitch I have never stopped learning I travel to every clinic I can just to get something that can help my team. To date I have already attended 3 since October. Also to hear it for free WOW. I know alot of folks who go to yard sells and flea markets just to get a deal. So come to North davidson and have a great time listening and giving. We will have time before and during to share. there will also be a great talk about where the NCFSCA is going. We had a banner year with Scholarships being given as well as other benefits. You can also be in on some new ideas. You know I hang out at the country breakfast place here at home and every time I go I learn something great from a lot of our elders. It always makes me a better person as well as a better teacher and coach. Life's Lesson's you never no where you can share or get them. You all come to the clinic for great knowledge and most of all Good fellowship. We are trying to plan for some lunch as well.

Coach, as almost always, is right

Can't wait to participate this coming weekend. Even though i no longer coach per say, it will be a great opportunity to learn some new things to pass along to those that do, to maybe help my two, and to see some great friends. Just hoping you don't let NDSB10 or Chief cook my meal. :yikes:

    Ready For Saturday!

The NCFSCA is ready for Saturday and we all are looking for a great turnout. All of us are excited about the possibilities of this clinic and of course the fellowship aspect of the clinic. Please make every effort to be there and enjoy our time together. We are looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Registration begins at 8 am and the clinic sessions begin at 9 am. This clinic is absolutely free and lunch will be provided. You do not have to be a member of the NCFSCA to attend. So come on and join us in what we believe will be a great day for Softball and our Association.

    Wow! Thanks to everyone!

The NCSCA(notice name change) would like to thank everyone that attended our first clinic that was held at North Davidson High School. We had 119 coaches in attendance. It was great to see HS, Travel Ball, Middle School, and Rec coaches in attendance. This is exactly what we were looking for and had a wonderful time. I personally enjoyed meeting some of the coaches that were not HS coaches. I did not get around to speak individually with all of them, but I hope to have other opportunities in the future. Our speakers were very informative and I feel each coach in attendance wrote down a few ideas that they could use to help enhance their program. I know I did. Special thanks to Coach Mike Lambros and his staff for all they did to make our first attempt so successful. There is absolutely no doubt that this will be an annual event with our Association. A full reporting of Saturday's clinic will be on the Coaches Association website in the next couple of days. Once again, a huge "Thank you" to all who made this event possible.
