    National Scouting Report
    in cooperation with the NCFSCA
    presents the Third Annual
Skills & Drills Softball Exposure Camps
UNC Wilmington - Catawba College - Western Carolina - USC Upstate - Coastal Carolina

We are extremely proud to announce that National Scouting Report and the North Carolina Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association have joined to present Skills & Drills Softball Exposure Camps for high school softball players aspiring to play in college. NCFSCA coaches will serve as team leaders.

The third annual “Skills & Drills Camps” will be held at UNC-Wilmington (6/13/05), Catawba College (6/15/06), Western Carolina (6/16/06), USC Upstate (6/27/06) and Coastal Carolina (6/29/06). The camps are designed to maximize exposure to college coaches during and after the camps. Participants will be randomly divided into four teams, timed or measured in a variety of skills in the morning and scrimmage in the afternoon. A short talk by the college coaches, lunch, camp T-shirt, NCAA recruiting briefing and insurance are included. More than 150 regional college softball coaches will be alerted to the events. Results will be sent to those coaches and posted on NSR’s Web site, www.nsr-inc.com, which receives over two million hits per month.

Players may attend multiple camps and must be in the ’07, ’08 or ’09 classes and have the potential and desire to play at the college level. Camps are limited to 52 players each. Players must pre-register at www.nsr-inc.com/carolinas or www.ncfastpitch.org where you will find the Skills & Drills 2006 Camps Logo. Deadline is May 20, 2006. For more info, contact NSR director of scouting Alan Parham at (828) 216-2267, (828) 891-0091 or by E-mail at [email protected]. (NSR enrollees may attend one camp at no cost as part of their NSR contract.)

    Updates and News

Skills & Drills Exposure Softball Camps

    1) After-event Marketing: If you are planning to send your kid to an exposure camp, S&D is perfect because of its extensive, post-event marketing package for participants -- something no other camp provides. Instead of hoping some coaches show up to see your kid perform that day, Skills & Drills will make it an event that coaches can gain immediate access and refer to for months to come. Players' performance stats will be sent to every college softball head coach in NC, SC, VA, TN, KY, GA and FL.

    2) Lasting and Valuable Accessibilty: Players' stats will be posted on our popular Web site (www.nsr-inc.com/carolinas) for college coaches to use in their evaluations and players to use when varifying their stats during the recruiting process.

Note: PrepAlert.com now has accessible applications for interested prospects.
