Good day for the underdogs

In 2A action today we had upsets in both semifinals with #5 Asheville knocking off #1 High Point and #3 RMA defeating #2 Southlake by a score of 13-2 with Hobbs Johnson allowing only 2 hits over 5 innings and getting big offensive support from Edmund Gravely with not one BUT two 3 run homers.

Rocky Mount Academy beats Asheville Christiam 6-5. Edmond hits two more homers, giving him 4 for the day!

 

Gravely added two more homers in the first best two of three series against Asheville Christian as Rocky Mount Academy took a 6-5 win in the first game.. RMA can clinch the state NCISAA 2-A title with a win tomorrow.
