NC's team according to PG....

    Thinking about the upcoming "1st World Baseball Classic" in March
    World Baseball Classic, D. Rawnsley of PG thought it would be intriguing to apply the concept at the HS level and make an 8 team tournament(7 states and a "rest of the country "team) in a "State Baseball Tournament". NC made the cut and was chosen as being one of the 7 with depth of talent within the state who could compete with the "behemoths", as he labels them(Calif, Texas, Fl). In his opinion, he favors Fl and Team USA but does call NC the sleeper team.
    No one will ever know because games have to be played on the field! But NC is fast gaining respect.

    Really interesting.....I only disgaree with one thing. Based on that lineup, we should be the "favorite" not the "sleeper". I've seen most of the premier players in the country perform, and I'd put my money on the boys from North Carolina.
