It's called the "Frame Dragger'' but it is also known as the Lense-Thirring pitch.

Two austrian physicists (Josef Lense and Hans Thirring), stated that celestial bodies that rotate create a force that pulls space towards them.

Using this principle, they have invented a new pitch. The rate of spin is so great that it actually curves space avoiding the bat on it's way to the mitt. The pitch has no movement of it's own .. it's basically a fast-ball, but as space-time curves near the object, it seems to move magically away from the bat as it nears the batter.

"It's the darn, most foolish moving thing I ever seen" said catcher Will Clarker. "It just cuts, dives, jumps and hops all at once."

A lawsuit has been filed by MLB attempting to ban the pitch, ostensibly on behalf of Johnny Sain. They claim that he developed the pitch originally and had dubbed the pitch the "Sain Spinner" decades ago. "He just didn't know the physic's that he was using." a source from Major League Baseball was quoted as saying.

After months and months of learning, the first know left-handed pitcher sucessfully threw the "Frame Dragger'' (aka Lense-Thirring)

The direction of spin being reversed altered the SPACE-TIME continuium in an unexpected manner.

Per Dr. Philipe Sankit of the Brushback Institute "The Frame Dragger, when thrown by a right handed pitcher has a tendency to alter perception of space near the spinning body. When a Left hander throws the pitch, time is altered in such a manner that the pitch arrives before it is thrown."

No catcher has been found that can handle the pitch thrown from lefties and it's becoming a scoring nightmare as the ball is found suddenly laying against the backstop at odd times and without warning.

We are all worried about you NC. :worried:

Here's the ump trying to call that new pitch of yours. :spiny:

Bless NCBBall's heart......His foggy mental state is nothing that detoxing his body and watching some baseball while the sun shines won't cure!
