Joe is a good guy. We play high school and legion ball together. He works really hard and is like me... all he wants to do is win. Doesn't matter if he is in RF, at 1B, or on the mound, he wants to win. He will play college ball somewhere.

Morrison is gonna be good for Middle Creek. We beat him a couple weeks ago, he pitched about 5-6 innings and gave up around 6 runs. (Cutler was the winning pitcher in that game... Cary 7, MC 0) But as Morrison gets older I think he will be real good.

We have got a good staff this year in Cary...
RHP's: Me (Sr., Cary, undecided), Garrett Sherman (redshirt Fr. at UNC-Charlotte), Kelly Stracke (Sr., Athens, Barton), Greg Jones (Sr., Green Hope, Elon)
LHP's: Cutler (Jr., Cary), Brian Caudill (Sr., Cary, App. State), Trevor Kaylid (Sr., Green Hope, James Madison).

Hittin wise we should be well off with Jon Willard (Sr., Green Hope, South Carolina), Cale Strickland (DIAC Rookie of Year at NC Wesleyan), Chris Pond (starting 2B at Florida Tech), Steven Newton (Jr, Green Hope), Matt Cossa (Sr., Green Hope), Cody Swartz (Sr., Athens Drive).

It should be a fun summer in Cary. But the competition is so darn good it's hard to put together a great record.

Facing guys like Arik Hempy, John Emmert, Matt Harrison, and Brett Braxton within our first couple weeks will be challenging.

    A Few Danderous Teams...

You won't have to be concerned with West Forsyth being one of the "dangerous teams" out of the Piedmont. R. J. Reynolds beat West Forsyth twice in regular season play, and beat them once again (4-3) in the semi- finals of the Central Piedmont 4-A tourney last night.
