I am super proud of all the NC girls who have an opportunity to shine at the next level. The fact that some are making it on ESPN, ESPNU is even better. Yes this is next level stuff but, most TBR's don't know where next level is (obvious by the # of people who actually go there).

Looks like UNC in this bracket will have to beat Washington 2 or possibly 3 times to move on..... Never say never, but it will a tough weekend. I just hope they win 1 game in the bracket.

Check the tournament website, sometimes they stream
the games... Last week, you could watch Greensboro and CNU in their regional.

the north georgia games were streamed live and i checked and its set up with the NG ad LR logos around the screen so thats where ill be as much as i can fri night and sat.

GT 3-2 over Jax. St. in the 4th. Nikki Prier, NC native from Wake Forest is 2-2!

Also, in the U of Wash v. ND St. game, NC native Becca Gift got a nice hit off of the stud Daniel Lawrie and then looked good at the plate swing like a champ and leaving nothing for the ump to call, yep, 3 pitches and 3 dog gone good swings. For a freshman from a small private HS in NC to face the best pitcher in the US, I'd say thats SWEEEEEEEEEET!
