    Next year's new conference:

    Catawba Valley 2A- East Burke, South Iredell, West Caldwell, Bunker Hill, Bandys, Newton-Conover, Maiden and Draughn

    NW 3A/4A - South Caldwell, Alexander Central, Watauga, Hickory, St Stephens, Hibriten, Foard.

    South Mountain 2A/3A - Freedom, Burns, RS Central, Patton, Shelby, Chase and East Rutherford.

    Softball looks great in this conference, 4 to 5
    quality pitchers instead of 2 to 3.

    Creates a natural rivalry w/ Glenn and East Forsyth but took away our longtime and natural rivalry w/ Carver, especially in football and basketball.
