    Whatever happened to Nicole Riley of Watauga HS? Not sure why I happened to think of her but she has some promise as a pitcher and I just wondered.:huh2:

    No offense there Abbey.....

    ...but at first I thought after reading this thread,....What? Is this a "proper ?"....then I wondered about ALL of the talented kids who we've not heard any news about. With respect, I'd like to ask about one other awesome player, Charity Watson. Will she be back with the Cardinals?

    Marlin U have a good point, I was not thinking anything bad, just wondered if she was still playing and for whom. Guess the way I ask, maybe could be looked at in the wrong way. Just truly asking about a kid that was an impressive pitcher and had not heard about her in awhile.

    She is still playing for Watauga, and played for Phantoms out of Burke County this past summer.

    Nicole is currently on a trip overseas to play in a World Cup game. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

    She is a senior pitcher for Watauga. Hoping this is her year to get over the hump.

    Nicole was with Blues for a season, nice young lady and I just had not heard from her for awhile! Glad she is doing well. Wish her continued success.

    No, I think this post is a valid......

    ....way of asking about the cool kids that we're interested in, and how they're doing. Abbeys posts, all of them, are well thought out and meaningful, and it was my misunderstanding. After a closer look, I realized what my "brother in posts" was getting at. :scholar:
