This is my Gold Star endorsement. The school that gets Leighton Daniels will be thrilled. The kid has speed, strength and a quick bat. You won't find anybody more humble or coach-able...and he's a tough competitor.

A great student, Leighton will make his college coach look smart!

One of the best unknown talent is the state lies in Leland. Danial Graham is a legit 4 tool player with blazing speed clocked in the 60 at 6.6 seconds and in the 40 at 4.4 seconds. The kid is a born athlete. He is an all conference perfomer at full back on the football field and placed in the top 5 of the 2A state wrestling championships this year after only that season to train. He hits for both power and average and was in the top 10 in numerous offense categories last spring. Will be playing this fall in a showcase setting for the first time for retired professional Fletcher Bates' Rock Solid team.

    Hunter May

I have watched Hunter develop over the years and he is legit. One thing you all may not know about him is that he is a very young rising senior, being that he is only 16 and he is already showing tremendous velocity and composure on the mound. One of the best pick off moves to first base in the country. He will be a 95+ mph arm once he matures. Whoever picks this kid up will have someone that can change a program.

    Daniel Massey -
Grimsley High School - Greensboro, NC
    OF

    Bats - Switch
    Throws - Right

Extremely hard worker at his game. Self motivator. Has made big improvments in short time this summer. OUTSTANDING ACADEMICS! 5'11" 180. 6.9-7.0 runner. Swings best from the left side in my opinion. Will be playing with the Dirtbags this Fall.

Noah Holmes (East Rowan, Rowan Legion)

    Name Noah Holmes
    School East Rowan
    Position 3B

Facts: Lefty Hitting/Right Throwing 6' 185lbs. No 3 hitter on Rowan Legion Team that is in the Little World Series. As good a fielder as it gets on the hot corner. Good power at the plate and hits to all fields. Runs decent. Probably going to be a division I commit in the fall, but as of yet, is still unsigned.

DITTO on Noah Holmes..one of the best 3rd baseman you will see..also a really nice kid, respectful, coachable and has an "old school" work ethic.

After Rowan Legion wins the World Series, Noah, Preston Troutman (also a very good player- SS and pitcher), Parker Gobbel (good pitcher), and Chris Jacobs (who didn't play Varsity last year, but is a good outfield with an arm and a decent batter) will join Thomas Allen on the Carolina Rays Fall Showcase team. They will be joined by the underclassmen of : Will Johnson, Justin Morris, Avery Rogers, Will Sapp, Luke Thomas, Andy Austin, Nathan Fulbright and Bradley Robbins.
These guys will be the ones to watch coming up.

It ought to be fun to watch these guys together as they are very talented, have been well-coached through the years and are a good group of guys.

    Ashton Lover

Ashton is a 5'11" 175 from Ardrey Kell. Was 6-2 with 3 saves last year, with a win and a save in the regionals and a win in the state finals.
    1.53 ERA 52 K's 12 BB's in 51 innings
He got Kell out of more bases loaded jams, cool under pressure
88-90 at Virginia Tech earlier this summer.
