Probably the best 2010 pitcher that has not committed that I have seen is Patrick McMahon. He is a lefty with a low-mid 80's fastball and a great change up and curveball. He is being looked at by several schools including Francis-Marion University, Appalachian St. University, University of North Carolina at Charlotte and Wingate University. He can be seen this school year with the Bulldogs of Butler High School.

    P. Mac

    P. Mac is a very good pitcher. Also a better than average hitter. Can I ask who this is?

Grace Academy has a pool of talent. I can't wait to watch them this year. Hopefully they will get some games against Charlotte Christian. Watch for Grace Academy to make a run at the Independent Christian Schools state title.

    ?

No such thing as an Independent Christian Schools state title. Christian schools are lumped in with all private schools and divided by classes (3A, 2A, and 1A). See NCISAA.org for the details.

East Meck also has another star baseball player, Olen Little. Olen is the #1 RH pitcher at East Meck and also plays RF. Olen and Leighton are uncommitted. Both were team MVPs, both were All-Conference (Southwestern 4A), both played in the Battle at the Border All Star game, and both played for CBC this summer. Olen was also all-conference and all-county in football. I believe he is getting a lot of looks for football and baseball but his first love is baseball. He would be a steal for a college baseball (or football) program. These two young men are leaders on and off the field and especially in the classroom!

While you are correct about the NCISAA does not have seperate divisions for Christian Schools, there is a seperate organization that some Christian schools play in, the North Carolina Christian School Association or NCCSA.

Thanks for the clarification. All of the Christian schools I am aware of compete in the NCISAA....certainly I am not aware of all of the Christian schools that are out there, particularly the smaller ones. When I read the NYMETS4177 was looking for baseball games for Grace Academy to play against Charlotte Christian and proposing that Grace Academy might win the state title (at Charlotte Christian's expense) then I knew that would have to be in the NCISAA, where the majority of private schools compete (or at least Charlotte Christian does).

Thanks again....getting things straight is important.
