Non Preps - ECU to Host NCAA Regional

they can award anyone they want the #1 seed in Greenville. As long as the Pirates are playing in that regional we all know who the favorite is. That should be an electric atmosphere for those games and should draw a huge crowd. I would bet Elon ends up in Chapel Hill as the #2 seed and UVA ends up in Greenville. But like you said it will all be clear tomorrow. Coastal Carolina should end up in Clemson as the #2 seed. Its going to be very interesting to see who those other teams are in both the UNC and ECU regionals.

 

The area (ECU) has been champing at the bit for a hometown Regional for years and now here's our shot to prove worthy... on and off the diamond. Out of sight ticket sales and attendance will be the tale of the tape off the diamond... on the diamond, it's time to step up and bang their way to a Super. Like I said before, the atmosphere will be electric all week, we'll probably sweep the sidewalks around town, park the turnip trucks out of easy view and put a lil spit shine on the pig cookers. This is almost as exciting as when the Govenor drove through town that time! heeheehee

I might borrow a few dollars from Coach 27 and get me a haircut!

 

Does everyone think that UNC and ECU would square off in the Super Regional if both teams advanced? That's the word I've been hearing, and it seems likely that this would be the case.

Don't count out my Phoenix just yet. We took the 'L" in the SoCon tournament championship to Ga. Southern, but we have a legit offense. We have to step up on the mound though.

 

No one

is going to count those guys out. They can play with anyone and had already proven it. It will be interesting to see where they end up.

you will see UVA go to the Louisville regional as the #1 seed. I believe South Carolina will be the #2 seed in Greenville. Elon to the Chapel Hill regional as the #2 seed. And Coastal Carolina as the #2 seed in the Clemson regional. Lets see how right or wrong I am tomorrow.

And I think you are probably dang close in your regional predictions... USC in Greenville will be NASTY...they are already smacking like there is no tomorrow...they are BITTER about not getting a Regional...lol
