Here's an idea. Why don't we follow Coach Lin Wheelers efforts at Cape Fear HS and form a coaches association for NC. Coach Wheeler started such an organization last summer for the HS coaches that has begun to work with the NCHSAA in getting some things changed for their benefit and improvement of the HS game.

Maybe the travel ball coaches in our state should consider forming an association to help unify our voice and improve the game. All fastpitch coaches would be welcome...college, high school, and of course travel ball coaches.

    Any thoughts?

From the early responses, sounds like there seems to be some interest. Is this something that should be pursued this spring, or should we wait until the fall to see if this can be organized?

In my opinion, anyone who has an interest in promoting and making the game better should be welcome.
