Hello to all the members of the Coaches Association and all other interested parties. The Association has been going through some growing pains in the last 6 weeks. Our President, Lin Wheeler of Cape Fear High School resigned his duties and now has officially turned them over to me. My name is Eddie Rivers. I was elected as Vice-President at our initial meeting in Greensboro last summer. I am in the process of trying to get things back on track, but it has been a slow process. As you probably noticed, our website has not been updated since about May 11. I am working to get some answers on how to get this resolved. Many questions have been asked on message boards about the Association and what is happening. All-Region and All-State questions keep popping up, along with other pertinent questions about what is happening with other aspects of the Association. I do not have all the answers for you, but I promise to work diligently to get those answers. I also plan to be in Raleigh this weekend to talk with Regional Chairpersons about all of these matters. I wish I could have posted this message on our website, but unfortunately, I am having trouble myself. Please offer any advice or suggestions through this board. I will check it constantly from now till Saturday morning. To the Association members, hang in there. We will get a handle on things and keeping moving in a positive direction.

    Hey Pop welcome to TBR.

Nothing great is easy to accomplish. You will probably get more input here from those wanting to remain anonymous. Getting it done is another subject all together. Ha Ha
I would like to see a couple of people that attend alot of HS games to enjoy and keep us all informed given passes (like coach passes) to attend these games at no charge: Cometfan and CFBall (If it weren't for them most of us wouldn't know about most of the games that go on or the players that play the game. :twocents:
