What a fitting name

 

Caldwell vs Cherryville vs Shelby...that is a nasty rivalry. People not involved in Legion baseball cannot believe the history of those three teams

Yep...I learned very quickly last year. This is also the toughest time of the year to moderate

 

everyone knows those three teams love each other. heck i even set right in the middle of their fans when they come to caldwell. enhences the experience greatly.

 

I think that only coaching can mess it up for ND at this point. White wins. What do you do??? Go with the third pitcher or try to do something else. Clay pitched a great game. But to throw him out there after that game, with almost no time. It would be almost a crime. Hope his pitch count was down. I think it will show what you do with your bullpen during the season. Hope they have a plan. Very important game. Good luck to all.

I sure did enjoy how most of the SC fans acted like they were about to fight somebody after the game for only one reason......because they lost...this series is not over...north has a little pitching left and trust me, they will be ready and prepared to take on this sleeping but now awoken giant supposedly stated by REPORTER...because what does north have to lose. These guys play with heart no matter who they play against no matter if it was the New York Yankees. I personally know that they will back down from nothing because they arent the favorite, they have nothing to lose. The pressure is on SC because the way i see it, thursday nights game was supposed to be a 5 inning yawner, but somehow SC found themselves pulling a game out of their butts in extras against little old ND. Anything less than a 10 run game is an upset supposedly... north took tonights game despite playing sloppy defense with a lead, and the way our boys think about hitting off bumgardner, is that this is a chance to hit off someone that someday will be in the pros...and this team has power, and you might see some of those 95 mph fastballs end up in those trees because like i said earlier, what do they have to lose because they arent expected to win, the pressure is on SC because they are a top team in the nation and ND wasnt ever even ranked in the state, but newsflash, look at the conference ND plays in, they play games like thursday night every night of the year. This is an oppurtunity for them to shine because if ND loses, nobody sees anything less of them, but if SC loses, the whole state will spend the next week wondering how in the heck they got beat by north davidson.
