As for the fans last night the problem was with the ND fans. When they came to SC they were both sides were loud but the ND fans were treated with respect. The ND fans were very rude and pushed it to the limit from the time the teams started warming up. It was mostly their students but still show some class. The police had to move some ND fans away at the start of the game the ND coach had to have a talk with others during the game as did the umps. It is good to be loud and peoud but when you try to provoke a response from the SC bunch you will get it. I don't think the home crowd will be as respectful tonight as they were in game 1. If I were an ND fan and wanted a seat fot this game I would get there before noon!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh-oh.....I have been mildly surprised at the SC supporters civil and respectful applause for the opposing teams in the games that I have been to. Sure it has a lot to do with the fact that they are confident and undefeated at home. Although the game is played on the field and not in the stands, the "awakening of the sleeping giants" I believe, is not in regards to the SC team, but the "ol' country boys" sitting in the stands. I fully expect this game to raise the level of support to another level.

I'll be shocked if the SC people aren't standing after the National Anthem until the last pitch of the game.

believe you have it right braves. SC team hasn,t been the sleeping giant, it has been the fans. but I expect all that to change tonight. In my opinion SC fans have been game changers from the momentum side of the game. I hope the SC players and fans come pumped up and ready to kick some butt. See you in sawmills........

Coming from a neutral party (Watauga fan) who sat right in the middle of everything last night, both sides were acting like idiots.

North Davidson students were celebrating and taunting when South fans started yelling at them and complaning at the umpires. The the ND fans starting bringing out the keys and yelling at South fans. Totally uncalled for by ND students and the South fans. Not once did I see a ND adult (over 20) act whith poor sportsmanship. Saw plenty of adults for South go over the edge.

South fans (notice FANS not players or coaches) expect this championship to be handed to them and when they don't get what they want they get mad. One South kid was being led out at the end when his mom saw it and confronted the cop. At no time did the ND students want to fight or attack South fans. The South adults who starting flipping the bird remember that your the adult in the situation.

Hopefully tonight both sides will act with class and dignity.

It's a sad state for both teams on the field. These kids have worked hard to get here. Mommys, Daddys and Fans. It is their time. If fans cannot act right send them to be car. It will come back to haunt the game not just the teams. Maybe one solution should be that all Championship games be held at a neutral field. Remember, that if the crowd cannot be controlled by the venue the venue can be changed. Maybe that's what they need to do. Have the Championship Games at a semi-pro team, college or other venue. Just like the State.
