    Amen! Well put, sbplayer! Coach Brookshire won a state championship in softball as a player at Central Cabarrus and played four years at Peififfer University. She has plenty of experience....

    Hi EnkaMom12,
    We love you guys too and wish you ,Sarah and the Enka team all the best in the Conference tourney and the state playoffs. I've got a feeling this IS Enkas' year for the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
    We'll try to make it to either the conf. tourney and or the states to root you guys on this year in between Erin's games. Keep up the hard work Sarah,and good luck in the rest of the season. Erin wishes you ALL the BEST!
    We want to see an UNDEFEATED ENKA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP this year!!!!:bowdown2: :bowdown2:

    Congrats to the Lady Patriot Softball Team for being tied for 2nd in the conf. and beating Alexander and ACR for the first time everrrr!!!! This conf. was very competitive this year and Im proud of the progress Freedom Softball Program is making!:woohoo:


    Congrats also to ACR for being conf. champs!!

    Congratulations to AC Reynolds on clinching the Northwestern 4A Conference this year. To all the teams in this very competitive division, job well done.

    Every team should have reasons to be pleased but, hats off to the Lady Patriots of Freedom High School. Over the past three years, I have witnessed this program go from a complete debacle to a competitive contender. Each and every player on this squad has, in some way or the other, made a contribution to their success and this years second place finish. Each player deserves a well earned “pat on the back”.

    Is there some big secret to this newfound success? In my opinion, no. These young women, led by the Coaching staff, simply went back to the basics. Each player worked very, very hard and showed tremendous dedication. Most importantly, they played together as a team and they remembered to have fun playing the game. Regardless of the scoreboard, is that not enough for any team anyway?

    Way to go ladies and you have earned the respect of this observer/parent.

    We wish you the very best in the future on the field, and more importantly, off the field.
