    Courage is FEAR, that said it's PRAYERS.
    AC Reynolds did defeat East Burke, however I don't have the score. All I was told is that ACR won.

    ACR Score

    ACR beat East Burke 10-0. Erin Gier had 2 doubles and OTF home run w 5 rbi's.Christy Cor also went 3-3 w/ 2 rbi's. Salem Bombace pitched a two hitter.

    Hickory 0 (5 Innings)

    This one wasn't even close. Hickory pitcher Amber Sain was trying her best to throw in strikes, but Freedom just blasted her for 17 runs on 17 hits including a blast from Lane Harriger that hit the flagpole in center field for a 2 run homerun. Harriger also threw a no-hitter from the circle.

    I felt sorry for Hickory, they missed alot of close plays and let balls get away from them, but they played a good game. This Hickory team reminded me alot of Freedom just four years ago when they were getting beat like this. Thad Fox has done a great job in the turnaround.

    Freedom is now 7-1 on the season. At Watauga on Fri, vs Reynolds on Tuesday, vs South Caldwell next Friday

    achs5- ac. reynolds2 emily pierce getting back to her old ways with more movement on her pitches! she had 10 k`s tonite! ac jv 10 ac rey.-3 megan laxton had 10 k`s in the win! ac had 10 hits from 10 differant players. ac varisty is 4-0 and jvs 2-0. any score from the east burke and south game?

    hey nw4-a fans where are you ???????????? did nobody play last night beside ac -ac rey? another cold night of softball! i can`t wait until it warms up! can someone post the jv score on here too ! good luck the rest of the year!

    Watauga 0

    Watauga's first game in their renovated ballpark. Good ballgame by both teams in the chilly weather. No hitter by Hassan. Watauga's bats never showed up. 1 hard hit and Conley snagged it in left. Conley and Harriger hit solo shots over Watauga's new fence-205 to left now. Reilly-10 k's in the loss.

    Freedom 7

    Very cold for this game. Trish Wilson had a 1b, 2b, HR, and 3 rbi's for Watauga in the game

    SC lost to East Burke. I don't know any details. Did Starnes play? I know our girls said she had a funeral for a family member Friday.

    Big week for some NW4A teams. Can Freedom upset ACR? I'm sure South will be ready to go after a shocking loss on Friday.
