    Freedom works hard again tonight!

Another strong performance on both teams part but, FHS Jessica McKee’s two run home run blast over the center field fence in the 3ed was spectacular.

This was a close one until the bottom of the sixth, when with two outs, Ashley Harrell belted a nice two run double for Freedom.

Freshman pitcher Ashley Hasson picks up another win, recording 12 strikeouts. Great composure on the mound.

Freedom defense solid and I record only one error on the evening.

Excellent decisions by Coach Thad Fox tonight.

Most importantly, very, very nice team effort by the Lady Patriots!

    Freedom @ Alexander Central Tuesday

Some key match ups this week headlined by the Patriots traveling to
T-Ville to take on the Cougars. Any thoughts on the game from the Cougar side or Patriot side? I think everyone will be treated to a great game. Freedom is playing pretty good right now - I think it depends on how well they can hit Pierce and how well both teams play defense! Will there be a crowd at Alexander Stadium?

    Other match ups

    East Burke @ McDowell
    South @ McDowell
    Watauga @ ACR
    South & Reynolds
    McDowell @ Freedom
    South & Alexander

I think there will be a big crowd. I am also glad to see teams in the NW4A improving their programs as we would like to see the conference gain more respect. As far as the game I am biased and will have to pull for the Cougars but no team should be taken for granted. I believe Freedom has alot of momentum going into this game and that does play a factor. Pierce still playing at 80% with the recuperation but not letting that get in her way. Looking for AC to be fired up also.

Good game with a good pitchers dual.

Heard East Burke defeated Mcdowell 4-2. Not sure of the score, but I know EB won.

I am not surprised that EB won. They have improved greatly. This is my fourth year watching them and I will have to say this is the best team so far and the coaches look pretty dedicated to sharpen their program.

I agree with you there. You could tell when she first took the program that she would turn it around in time. The conference is as solid as it has been in quite some time.

    Mcdowell 11
    South Caldwell 2

I don't know what has happened to us this year but these girls are a lot better than they have shown so far.
