....yes, when will Duke get a softball team?
Who might be the coach and how would that coach promote such a prestigious degree to a recruit?

    ANY QUESTIONS?:PubDrink:

    Duke Softball? Never . . . and here's why

    Row, Row, Row your boat

this is classic inexpensive response to title IX. Note the number of North Carolinians on the roster. Clemson also employs this strategy. Why? Huge roster with little cost.

    other side of coin

great responses, but what about the issue of earning very minimal PT as an upperclassman as far as a coach justifying continuance on scholarship? I mean the schollies are year to year , right?

....I'm walking on thin ice right now so I'll be easy on me! Yes scholarships are 1 year at a time, they can increase, decrease, and be yanked.
With that said, a coach has an NCAA responsibilty rule to graduate all scholarship players.
If a kid loses a scholarship, then the coach loses that amount of money to give to another kid when the first kid would have graduated.
Todd Bradley, Pfieffer Head Coach explained this rule in a previous thread.

I know this is totally off subject and I also know we don't usually point out spelling or grammar errors but I have a request. Pfeiffer is the correct spelling--not Pfieffer. Not picking on you Fish, most everyone spells it wrong on here.

I promise I'll try not to let other typos bother me. That one just does for some reason. Maybe because so many spell receive recieve.

    Sorry, Fish; ahead of time.
