    Actually, I've seen MANY high school coaches who only had 1 or 2 good pitchers, and they would ride those 1-2 pitchers all the way to a conference championship. Not that I agree with pitching kids that often, but its been done,,, and done successfully too.

    Northwest Cabarrus won at home against West Iredell Tuesday May 1.

    Does anyone know the outcome of Carson vs. Statesville and Lake Norman vs. Mooresville and where Northwest might fall in the standings now?

    Mooresville still has to play NW Cabarrus @ NW on Thursday. Because of their sweep of 2nd place W. Rowan, Mooresville is the #1 seed out of the NPC and will play their 1st round game on Friday May 11th opponent TBD @ MHS 7:00pm

    Lake Norman is not a bad team. They have excellent coaching both varsity and JV levels. The Lamiscola kid, southpaw sophmore is awesome pitcher.
