NPC final week situation

Because of the loss column, Mooresville is in the best shape right now. The 3rd playoff spot is "their's" to lose,,, but with that said,,, I certainly hope the pressure don't get to them...


Btw, I think the Mooresville game with West Rowan "will" mean something, before its over. Mooresville also has a date with a very MUCH IMPROVED and determined East Rowan team...

 

all k-town as to do is take care if business against north irdell and nwc if they get to play and the playoff spot should be k-towns. mooresville and east both play each other and moores plays west and i dont see moores beating eather one of them. and if im not mistaken east plays west and i dont see them beating west either

 

I agree with that mindset, I've never been a big fan of trying to get cute with your pitching and try to "steal" a win. More times than not it will blow up in your face. Win the game at hand and then cross the next bridge when you come to it. Baseball can be a funny game at times.

A day off then its @ Lake Norman Saturday at 1pm then off to W.Rowan at 7pm. A double dip at two different fields.

 

Congratulations to Mooresville. It looks like you guys are taking care of business,,, something that Kannapolis wasn't able to do a couple times this year. However its not over yet, a lot is going to happen in the next 2 days. We(Kann) can still figure into things if we beat Northwest Cabarrus tonight...

 

Looks like K-Town took care of the first part of their business by beating Northwest.
Kannapolis pitching in this game seemed to donminate NWC again , only this time we came out on top with a 6-3 win.

Now its on to North Iredell, with more business to take care of, in part because of West Rowan whipping Mooresville Saturday night, 10-0. A win at N. Iredell will tie Mooresville and Kannapolis with Kannapolis owning the tie breaker unless i am mis-informed .

The Kannapolis / NWC game could have been uglier than it was if NWC third baseman didnt make some key stops early on and make the plays...

 

Coach...If Kannapolis beats N Iredell to tie Mooresville for 3rd how did they win the tiebreaker?The only way I can figure is by Kannapolis beating NWC the second seed.I don't think Mooresville beat either W Rowan or NWC.Does Kannapolis beating a higher seeded team earn them the tiebreaker?

I did not hear that from any official source K-Town Yankee. But it did come from reliable sources .
I thought there would be a play off for that spot , but i guess thats not the case.

 

Thats right guys, Mooresville's done. Even if we had lost to Lake Norman Saturday afternoon we could have still gotten in by winning at WR (top seed). Boy those Falcons are GOOD. They have an outstanding program and excellent talent to go along with it. It seems like when we knock them out in football they pay us back in baseball....and basketball.....and track.....and softball.
