With 3 teams tied for 3rd place and the last playoff spot right now, every game is huge. I know Kannapolis has 2 games left, Mon 5/5 at NWC and Wed 5/7 at N. Iredell. If someone could post the remaining schedules for Mooresville and East Rowan, that would be much appreciated. Regardless how it turns out, this has been one exciting race and I wish all the teams good luck (just I hope Kannapolis gets the most good luck!).

    Another question????

If anybody knows, please answer how will Mooresville now play 4 remaining games THIS WEEK, because of rainouts. The conference tournament is scheduled to begin next Monday 5/12, and no team can play more than 3 games per week according to the NCHSAA. Are there any exceptions, and will this hurt Mooresville if they have to play 4 games this week just to finish their season?

    Post your comments...

p.s. My first thought is that Mooresville has seemed "behind" everyone else in games played all season, so maybe they should've already played some of these games instead of waiting til the last minute...

p.s.s. Also keep in mind that the weatherman is calling for chance of thunderstorms each day this week,,,, its actually raining right now.

It is possible to play 4 games in a week PROVIDED one is scheduled for a saturday...That's by state rules and no provision has been made for exceptions AS OF YET ....

....That also leave NO margin for the weatherman who insists on being a factor this week.

Thanks NCBBALLFAN for your reply, I only knew about the "3 game per week" rule. I didn't know about Saturdays.

However, talking about the weatherman and the possibility of MORE rain this week. Do you or anyone else know if the NCHSAA has any room to move back the state playoffs, just in case leagues are still making up games next week. All games are crucial so I don't see how any games can just be cancelled. And as of right now, its looking more and more like the conference tournaments next week may get pushed back "at least some" to get all these reg.season games played...
